  • Super Learning in Year 1!

Mon 18 Apr 2016 Mrs Collins
Year 1 have had a fantastic day at the start of our topic on Superheroes. Children came to school dressed as their favourite superheroes and loved designing their shields and crests. We made posters using headings all about our favourite superheroes and even made up our own heroes. Mrs Collins got in to the spirit of it as Spider-Man, although the hoodie zipped up was a bit hot for story time!

On Friday, Year 4 started their latest PE unit: golf!

  • Year 3 become Saltwell Park Temple Runners!

Fri 15 Apr 2016 Mr Warren

Year 3 took on the role of the brave Temple Run explorers, as they entered the maze at Saltwell Park this week.

The children, who have been studying Temple Run in their Literacy lessons, explored the maze making their way past the  twists and turns and made their way to exit trying to avoid the many dead ends!

On their way through the maze the children collected precious golden coins hidden by Mr Warren; thankfully, they all managed to escape without encountering any mythical beasts!

  • Sport Relief 2016

    Tue 12 Apr 2016
After an amazing day raising money for Sport Relief, we can confirm the school raised a WHOPPING £923.49 for a great cause. The children's Sport Relief activity was to 'Run a mile' on the yard, and to complete various circuit activities in the hall. Even though most children ran more than a mile just for fun! They all had a fantastic day including staff who also took part in the activities! WELL DONE CAEDMON!
