• Reception visit the Discovery Museum

  Reception Class had a lovely morning at the Discovery Museum today. The children enjoyed a workshop based around the story 'Mrs Honey's Hat' followed by lots of fun in the 'Play Tyne' room. The children were impeccably behaved, we were all very proud of them!

• World Book Day Celebrations

  We had loads of fun celebrating World Book Day on Thursday. There was an array of amazing costumes as the children celebrated their favourite books and characters, including Fantastic Mr Fox, Gangsta Granny, The Boy in The Dress and nearly the full cast of Wizard of Oz! There were prizes handed out for the best dressed and lots of activities throughout the day.

   

  The staff also enjoyed sharing their favourite book characters by getting dressed up. The drive to work may have proved difficult for some, especially Mr Strong!

  

• Movie Music Magic!

  On Wednesday 4th March, Caedmon School was filled with the sounds of Hollywood Blockbusters including Paddington Bear, Jurassic Park and James Bond as we took part in a fantastic Music from the Movies Workshop! Children from every class across the school were involved in the workshop taking part in musical games, singing, dancing and we even got to help the band by playing some musical instruments!!

  

• Year 3 Quicksticks

  Year 3 took part in a Quicksticks Hockey Festival at Kingsmeadow School on Tuesday 3rd March. We had a great time working together in our teams, taking part in races and Hockey themed games before playing in a mini competition at the end of the day! Every member of the class who attended the event had a great day and showed a fantastic attitude to playing the games and taking part in the correct spirit! Well Done!!!
