• Year 4's Visit from That History Bloke

  Year 4 were lucky to be joined by That History Bloke, Richard, and he taught us all about the Vikings.

   

  Firstly, we listened to a Viking myth about Ragnar Lodbrok, a Viking ruler, and his valiant rescue of the beautiful Thora from the monstrous serpent. We then explored Viking weaponry, armour and shields that were used by Vikings to keep them as safe as possible during battle.

   

  Finally, we played Viking games and had lots of fun trying to beat our partners in four in a row.

   

  

• Year 2 Science

  Year 2 have been exploring living things and today started to understand more in depth about germs. We did an experiment showing the importance of cleaning our hands. We saw the pepper (germs) stick to our hands without soap but with soap moved away.
