• Year 4 Jarrow Hall Visit

  Year 4 visited Jarrow Hall as part of our history topic. We had a brilliant day looking at Anglo-Saxon crime and punishment, battles and farming. We all had a great day and learnt lots of interesting things!

  

• Eid Celebrations

  This week, we’ve taken part in some activities to celebrate Eid! Some of our Year 6 children visited the classes to talk about how they celebrate Eid, and we all made crackers to take home. It was lovely to see our children wearing their traditional dress or bright clothes! We would also like to say a big thank you to our families who shared photos of their own celebrations at home. Eid Mubarak everyone!

  

• Early Years 'When we Grow Up'

  This half term our Early Years theme is “When We Grow Up…” - we are sharing the things we are good at and the things we enjoy and thinking about the different types of jobs that people do.

  In Nursery, children have been trying out lots of different skills - they have been builders, mechanics, racing car drivers, hairdressers, teachers, engineers……and lots more! Reception are looking closely at People Who Help Us and finding out about lots of jobs in the community.

  We had an exciting visit from the local fire fighters with the fire engine on Friday too - here are a few photos of the fun we’ve been having.
