Wed 18 Dec 2019 Mr Siddons
Year 3 enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Great North Museum, where they took part in a workshop about fossils and dinosaurs, which they have been learning about in their Rocks topic. The trip included a walk to the Metro (thankfully the sun was out) and their behaviour was perfect - they did Caedmon proud!

Tue 17 Dec 2019 Mr Siddons
As part of their history topic - Anglo-Saxons and Vikings - Year 4 visited Jarrow Hall a couple of weeks ago. They spent the morning walking around the incredible Anglo-Saxon village, which includes the types of farm animals that would have lived in real Anglo-Saxon villages. In the afternoon, the children learnt about Anglo-Saxon crime and punishment before re-enacting a battle between the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings.

We have had a fabulous week of performances from all of the children. We started with our early years children on Wednesday with a performance of 'Oopsie Daisy Angel'. This was followed today by KS1 performing 'Santa's on Strike' and then KS2 performing the Christmas Story Through Elton John. All performances were fantastic. Thank you to everyone who came along to watch the shows.
