  We have got the Christmas celebrations off to a start at School with the delivery of real Christmas trees in each classroom and the hall. Here are some of our beautifully decorated trees. Nursery had a fab time decorating theirs!

  

• Year 2 Geography

  Year 2 have been learning all about Gateshead in their Geography topic, we have enjoyed looking at where Gateshead is on a map as well as famous landmarks within Newcastle and Gateshead. We have created our own versions of the Angel of the North, all of the models look fantastic!!

  

• Learning about Diwali

  This week Nursery have been making Diva lamps to celebrate Diwali. The children had lots of fun moulding the clay into the correct shape. They cannot wait to paint them next week!

  

• Investigating the Seasons

  This week Nursery enjoyed investigating the season of Autumn. They took clipboards and went on a nature hunt, exploring what they could see around school. They saw a variety of colourful leaves, some birds and berries. It was lots of fun for everyone. 

  

• Halloween Celebration Day

  We've had such a fantastic day celebrating Halloween in school. There were some amazing costumes on show. The children have taken part in lots of Halloween activities throughout the day and were served a scary lunch in our spooky dining hall.
