Our school is fully compliant with DDA requirements. Breakfast Club, extra-curricular activities and after school provision is accessible to all children, including those with SEND.
Pupils, staff and visitors physical needs are all assessed prior to attending Caedmon and environmental changes are made in order to meet their required needs.
Pupils requiring toileting support are given specific seats in order to access the toilet and rails to support balance.
Outside, our school has fully accessible ramps installed, allowing for full access to wheelchair users.
Inside, we have access to three disabled toilets, one situated just next to the school office, one in nursery (also a wash room) and one designated on the upstairs corridor. We also have a fully functioning lift that allows disabled learners to access our Key Stage 2, Library and ICT provision.
