• Year 1 & 2 Golf!

  As part of their PE this term, Year 1 & 2 are trying a brand new sport - GOLF!

   

  Wearing their smart new PE kits, the children have been learning about golf clubs and how to use them safely.  They practiced their putting and chipping skills by playing a range of exciting fun games all with the help of expert golf coach, Bryan.
   

  

• PE Kit Launch

  The new school PE Kit was launched as Year 4 took part in a special event with Gateshead School Sport Partnership on Tuesday. All of the children were given the chance to be the first ones to wear the new PE kit as they took part in a number of fun and active games throughout the morning, with some members of the class leading parts of the session as coaches. We're sure you will agree they all look very smart in their new kit! Well Done Year 4!

  

• Chinese New Year

  Today in Nursery we have been learning all about the Chinese New Year. We have been tasting foods and making lovely lanterns.  

  

• Healthy eating in Nursery

  Our Nursery class have been learning all about healthy eating this week. The children have been making delicious fruit salads and smoothies. They have also been trying new foods such as pineapple and Mango.
