  • Monster Point Winners - Tyneside Cinema

Fri 16 Dec 2016 Mr. Lawson
Our Monster Point trip to the Tyneside Cinema yesterday was an excellent festive treat for the five highest point scorers in each class over the last term.

To reward them for their consistent good work and positive attitude, they enjoyed taking the trip to Newcastle to watch Polar Express together.

Our Monster Point system will start afresh in the new year.
  • KS2 Abba Nativity

Fri 09 Dec 2016 Mr. Lawson

Well done to all of the Key Stage 2 children for their fantastic performance this afternoon, telling the traditional nativity story through some of Abba's most famous hits (with more than a few words changed).

Everyone agreed it was a tremendous performance and one of the best in recent years and, best of all, the children really seemed to enjoy doing it.

As all of the staff we busy/in place during the performance we don't have many high quality pictures. Could we please ask anyone who has any photographs to email them into the school office or send them as a direct message on our Facebook page? Thank you!

  • Year 1 & 2 Christmas Alphabet

    Thu 08 Dec 2016 Mrs J Hooker

It was Year 1 & 2's turn today to put on an epic performance for all of the parents in their Christmas Alphabet Nativity. The children were fantastic, learning all of their lines and singing wonderfully. There was some great dance moves on display from Mrs Collins and Miss Thoburn as the show unfolded.

Well done everyone who took part - you were amazing!

  • Craft Afternoon Loveliness

    Thu 08 Dec 2016 Mrs J Hooker

Last week lots of parents came in to take part in some craft activities with the children. It was lovely to see so many parents come along and get stuck in with the glitter, glue and sticky paper!

Here are some of the photos from the Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 afternoon.

  • Nativity Rocks!

    Thu 08 Dec 2016 Mrs J Hooker
Yesterday our Nursery and Reception Class put on a fantastic Nativity for all to see. The children were all amazing and did so well in front of a large audience. There wasn't a dry eye in the house by the end!
  • Crafty Christmas Fun

Fri 02 Dec 2016 Mr. Lawson

Thanks to all adults who came to help the children at the various Christmas Craft afternoons this week - the link between home and school is invaluable in helping all children in our school community to reach their potential.

Additional thanks to volunteers helping out on the refreshment stalls.

There was some very creative work on display (from both parents and children) at today's Y5 & Y6 event, which the children had once again been really looking forward to.
