Swimming to Victory
Congratulations to Elif Celikay (Year 5) who won 2 silver and 1 gold medal at a recent swim meet in Billingham. Elif, who represents Gateshead and Whickham Swimming Club, won her Gold Medal in the 50m Breaststroke and also claimed 2 silver medals in the Butterfly 50m and the 200m Breaststroke. Elif’s success might go even further when she attends the National Swimming Finals in Corby on 29 November. Well Done Elif and Good Luck from Everyone at Caedmon!
Fasuan recruited to SAFC!
Congratulations to Leo Fasuan (Year 4) who has been selected to join the prestigious Sunderland F.C. academy! Leo, who was selected playing for Newcastle Benfield, has proved himself to be a prolific player who has an eye for goal. Leo will join the U9’s team at the club this week and we are all hoping for big things for Leo in his footballing future!
