Y3 & Y4 Sage Folkworks Performance
Last Friday, Year 3 and 4 went to the Sage in Gateshead to perform on the concourse. Over the last eight weeks, each class have been working with Katie and Will from the FolkWorks team to learn some traditional songs. It has been a joy watching and listening to the classes practice their singing, learn about the structure of songs and become a little bit prouder of where they are from.
Whether it be growing in confidence, getting active for an hour or discovering a love of singing, I am really delighted with what the children have achieved in this short space of time. Thank you to all of the parents/carers that came to watch on Friday - it meant so much to the children.
