Our new class text in Reception is about a superhero. In our first week back at school the class created their very own superhero names, thinking of words to describe themselves, using the initial sounds in their names.

They described their superhero outfits and special powers to their talk partners and then recorded their ideas with drawings and sentences.

We were really impressed with their work - impressive imaginations, phenomenal phonics and wonderful writing. Here are a few examples of our superheroes!
