This week in History club, we travelled back to the 1880 and the immigration of Italians to America.

Italy during the late 19th century/early 20th century had a lot of financial difficulties, no job opportunities and many families in rural areas lived in poverty. So they followed the American dream! Over 4 million Italians travelled to America, when they got there they had to find work, so they used some of their Italian skills and made and sold Ice cream!!

That’s what we have done today. We have had great fun! Plus it tasted amazing!!
