Mystery holes....more, more, more.....throwing and catching.......and Hello Yellow day!
After reading our story about a mystery hole in a garden, our own mysterious hole appeared in our Early Years garden - we had to sneak out quietly in case we disturbed what was hiding in there. We talked about what we thought was hiding in the hole and then drew pictures of our ideas.
In Maths we helped 2 toys who were arguing about who had more pieces of fruit - we put them in a line to see which one was longer and then explored the ideas of more and fewer with some dice games later in the week.
We celebrated Hello Yellow Day on Friday and drew pictures of ourselves looking happy. We had a very yellow PE lesson, working with partners to practice throwing and catching.
