Year 3 and 4 had an exciting visit from artist Brian Rankin, the owner of Come View My Art Gallery located on Sheriffs Highway. During his visit, Brian introduced us to Gateshead artist Charlie Rogers, a dedicated man who devoted his life to his artwork. Charlie’s paintings recorded features of Saltwell Park and the surrounding area, some of which are displayed at the gallery. Caedmon is eager to read about his life in a new book titled Pursued by Bulldozers.  We are inspired by his work and will be using some of his techniques in our own creations.
