Key Stage Two had a fantastic time learning about trees! We planted various trees and shrubs in our school grounds, positively contributing to the environment and making our school a lovely place to be. We are excited to care for our new plants and to watch them grow.  

In Maths, Year 3 have been exploring division within our new topic. We used counters in pairs to represent different division sentences and tested our partners to see if they got them right. We had lots of fun exploring this practical way of learning!  

On Friday our Nursery class celebrated Number day. The children enjoyed counting and drawing numbers, they even had their very own numberblocks!  

On Tuesday, Year 5 visited Newcastle Racecourse with Racing to Schools. This was an exciting opportunity to see maths in action whilst exploring different aspects of horse racing/jockey life. We visited the weighing room, the parade ring and even ran up the racecourse track ourselves...
