This week Reception have continued their work as authors and illustrators to record the second part of our traditional tale. We are working with our Talk Partners every day to retell the story.

We’ve really enjoyed mark making this week, from writing and drawing in our literacy tasks abd handwriting, to drawing and independent writing around the classroom.

In Maths we used the song Five Little Men in a Flying Saucer to look at the composition of numbers 5, 6 and 7. We found different ways to represent the numbers on 2 parts.

We also enjoyed looking at our topic books on the carpet, sharing the stories with each other. We’ve started a new afternoon task - Which One Doesn’t Belong - we think carefully before sharing our ideas and decide if we agree or disagree with our classmates.
