This week in Reception we have been exploring the composition of the number 5, splitting it into 2 parts. We used the song, 5 Little Speckled Frogs to help us then used practical resources to find ways to represent the parts.

In literacy we were authors and illustrators and created the opening of our story. We were working so hard, some of the Key Stage 1 staff came to see us too!

In PE we had our next driving lesson- this week we followed a road, adjusted speed and manoeuvred around obstacles whilst travelling to specific spaces.

As always, we’ve been learning through play in our choosing time - Mrs Deavin and Miss Thompson were impressed with our team work in lots of areas in the classroom.
