We visited the Shipley Art Gallery to investigate different patterns.
The class used different materials and items to create symmetrical patterns on our visit to the Shipley Art Gallery.
We even made our own patterns out of wool.

We have been working on the apparatus this term in P.E.
We investigated light and shadows in our science work.
In our new science topic we have been investigating rocks and soils.
We have been making 2D and 3D shapes in numeracy.
In numeracy we have also been learning how to tell the time.
We also had lots of fun learning about measurements in numeracy by measuring our body parts.
In Literacy we have been learning about Performance Poetry. We have been performing in front of an audience.
We have been looking at other poems to see if we can steal any good ideas for our own poems.
In ICT we have been practising our word processing skills typing up our performance poems.
We used Clipart and Google Images to add different types of pictures to our work.
In History we have been investigating the Anglo-Saxons and soon we will be going on a trip to Bede's World to explore an Anglo-Saxons settlement.
We have designed our own settlement and presented our ideas to the rest of the class.
