Family Learning Opportunities for Year 6

clip_image002.jpgOn Friday 29th January 2010 all 'Family Men' of children in our Year 6 class are invited to come in and have lunch with their child. The aim is to get fathers, grandads, uncles and all male carers to have better links with the school and to find out more about what we do in school.
The afternoon will start with having a school dinner (free for the family man) with your child and then using the computer suite to look at the Family Man website. You will then meet a real life Roman Soldier Dad and play games with your child. This will be a really informal afternoon full of lots of fun and laughs. Even older brothers aged 18+ are welcome to come along. Please come along and we promise you a good day! Your child will have brought home a letter about this but you can also contact the Mrs McVicar or the class teacher if you require more details.
